6月に受注販売された（現在は受付終了）、しももくさんのきのけしシリーズよりベタです。第三回ソフコンで、友人に頼まれて購入したのですが、自分も欲しくなり（あるある）、その時展示されていた新作モウモグと一緒に受注でオーダーしました。

This is a betta from the Kinokeshi series by Shimomoku-san, which was available for order in June (now closed for acceptance). At the 3rd Sofcon, a friend asked me to buy one, but I wanted one myself (it happens), so I ordered it on order along with the new Moumogu that was on display at the time.

いつかゲットできれば良いな、と機会を伺っていたところの受注販売だったので、嬉しいです。作家さんの考え次第ですが、インディーズソフビの受注販売って、なかなかないことですし、ぱっと見て量産向きな塗装工程とは思えない作品でしたので、すごいなぁと感心しきりでした。

全高約6センチ、6パーツ構成、くるみ塗装ですが、分解したところ成型色はライトグレーでした。

I was hoping to have a chance to get one someday, and I am glad that I was able to get one. Although it depends on the artist's idea, it is rare to sell indie soft vinyl to order, and at a glance, the painting process did not seem to be suitable for mass production.

The figure is about 6 cm tall, consists of 6 parts, and is painted in Kurumi paint, but when I disassembled it, I found the color to be light gray.

しももくさんは、コレクションしやすくて持ち歩きもしやすい小さなサイズ感をあえて選んで制作されているそうです。

インパクト大なビジュアル。

手にする前は、幽霊のような、とらえどころのない印象を持っていたんですが、実際手にとって触ってみると、洗練された電子機器のような真逆の印象を受けました。

ソフコン会場では、物撮りブースで妙齢の女性たちが幾人もこぞって購入したベタを撮影されている姿を目撃して、意外な（失礼）ファン層の広さに驚きました。

A visual with a huge impact.

Before I held it in my hands, I had the impression that it was ghostly and elusive, but when I actually held it in my hands and touched it, I had the exact opposite impression of a sophisticated electronic device.

At SofCon, I was surprised to see a number of elderly women taking pictures of the betas they had purchased at the photo booth, which surprised me (pardon the pun) with its wide fan base.

能面のような美しくも恐ろしい顔。じっと見つめて魅入られてしまいます。

淡いスプレー彩色の濃淡、橙色のべに、鼻のボディペインティングと、怖いくらいの緊張感が醸されています。

この塗装のすごいところは、顔と首のカンチャク部、小口の部分まで塗装されていることです。小口というのは、ソフビではできれば見せたくない部分だと思いますが、そこをあえて、洋服のレイヤリングでシャツの色をチラリと見せるように、さり気なくアピールしています。

A beautiful yet frightening face like a Noh mask. You can't help but stare at it and be mesmerized.

The light spray paint shading, orange veneer, and body painting on the nose create a scary tension.

The amazing thing about this painting is that even the face, the neck canchaku, and the small mouth are painted. The small mouth is a part of the soft vinyl figure that one would not want to show if possible, but this part is subtly appealing, as if the color of the shirt is glimpsed through the layering of clothes.

背中は、ベースのキャンディーカラーのグラデーション塗装に、ボーダーをマスキングして、白色で塗装、マスクを剥がすという手間のかかりよう。ボーダーは等間隔ではなく、フリーハンドで区切られているのですが、粗雑とは真逆で、新しい調和がありとても美しいです。

The back is painted in a gradient of candy colors on the base, with the borders masked, painted in white, and then unmasked. The borders are not evenly spaced, but are freehand and separated, but the opposite of crude, they have a new harmony and are very beautiful.

ボディ下部には、見せかけの分割線があります。車でいうキャラクターラインと言うやつみたいで、この部分がベタがまるで電子機器のように感じられるアイコニックな部分と感じられました。

On the lower part of the body, there is a fake dividing line. It looks like what is called a character line in a car, and this part was felt to be an iconic part that makes the sticky feel like an electronic device.

裏面も驚きです。大きく抉られ、船の竜骨のように1本伸びた骨格から、4本の足が伸びています。顔を分解して中からみると、ここの加工は一筋縄にはいかなそうです。

ここも車の裏側みたいな間隔で、面白いディテールです。

The reverse side is also a surprise. It has been greatly gouged out, and four legs extend from a single skeleton that extends like the dragon bone of a ship. When the face is disassembled and viewed from the inside, it seems that the processing here is not as simple as it seems.

The spacing here is also interesting, like the backside of a car.
