前回につづきまして、4月に受注販売されたトリプルネームコラボアイテムのネコマタDXセットの紹介です。
今回は、セットの核となるネコマタ・スラッシュアウトカラーの紹介となります。
全高約23センチ、8パーツ構成、成型色は黒。
いわゆる"双頭"スタイルのソフビで、とても立派な作品です。

The figure stands approximately 23 cm tall and consists of 8 parts, molded in black.
It is a very fine piece of soft vinyl in the so-called "double-headed" style.

「猫また」 猫又、猫股（ねこまた）は、日本の民間伝承や古典の怪談、随筆などにあるネコの妖怪。大別して山の中にいる獣といわれるものと、人家で飼われているネコが年老いて化けるといわれるものの2種類がある。
Nekomata (猫又) or nekomata (猫又) is a feline yokai found in Japanese folklore, classic ghost stories, and essays. 頭が2つあるので、非常にボリューム感があります。大作です。

装飾がほとんどなく、シンプルなモチーフながら、各パーツの取り付け位置の工夫、素晴らしい毛並みの造形、造形の凄みを遺憾なく発揮し極まった塗装、純日本なモチーフと日本のソフビの粋を極めた至高の逸品となっています。

右手と左手、微妙な腕の向きの違いで、動かせば大きなポージングの変化に驚かされます。

威嚇する右の頭部。
大きく開いたアゴと小さく鋭く尖った牙。実際の猫が威嚇する声が幻聴で聞こえてきそうな、迫真の表情です。
Menacing right head.
The wide-open jaws and small, sharply pointed fangs. It is an imposing expression, as if you could hear the actual cat's threatening voice in your auditory hallucination.
左の頭部は、三つ目で、片目が傷ついているのか、半ば塞がっています。
The left head has three eyes, one of which is damaged or half blocked.
右と左の頭部は、取り付け位置が前後にズラされています。そのため、より猫の躍動感や生命力が伝わってくるような表現になっていると感じます。
The right and left heads are shifted back and forth in mounting position. This makes the cat's expression more dynamic and vital.
腹に第三の顔があります。
まさしく化け猫という風体ですが、あくびをしているような表情のギャップが面白いです。

背中の毛並みが逆だっています。
臨戦態勢の緊張感が漂います。
造形的にも非常に面白いです。

しっぽを左右に降ると、今にも飛びかかりそうな勢いが表現できます。
背中の素晴らしい毛並みもバッチリ見えます。

毛並みの表現が素晴らしいです。
一旦つるりとアウトシェイプを仕上げて、彫刻刀などで一気呵成に彫ったものと思われますが、一発勝負の技と勘による素晴らしい仕事です。
漆を思わせる深い黒に、銀ただ一色の配色が切れ味鋭く、ただただ見惚れてしまいます。
The expression of the fur is wonderful.
It is thought that the out-shape was once finished smoothly and then carved in a single stroke with a carving knife or other tools, but it is a wonderful work done with one-shot skill and intuition.
The deep black, reminiscent of lacquer, and the only color scheme of silver are sharp and fascinating to behold.
足裏の刻印。七年前の作品ということで、減価償却は済んでいて、今回のような価格設定・受注生産が可能だったのでしょうね。
Engraving on the sole. Since the piece is seven years old, it must have depreciated and was able to be priced and made to order as shown here.
お座りポーズも良い感じ。
