長かった旅レポが終わりましたので、途中になっていた玩具レビューを再開します。
今回は、東京の移転したONE UPさんで購入したアイモ堂さんのイデアポッドです。
ソフビ成形所による製品ということもあり、コロンブスの卵的な閃きと挑戦的な仕様と攻めた価格の作品です。
登場以来、ゲットできる日を楽しみにしていました。二次流通を頼らずに、待っててよかった。
UFOのキャトルミューティレーションをモチーフにした作品です。
全高約28センチ、3パーツ構成、成型色は、クリア、クリア銀ラメ、オレンジクリアの豪華3色構成。

This time, I would like to introduce the Ideapod by Aimodo, which I purchased at the relocated ONE UP in Tokyo.
It is a product by a soft vinyl molding shop, and is a Columbus's egg-like piece with challenging specifications and an aggressive price.
Since its appearance, I have been looking forward to the day when I could get it. I'm glad I waited and didn't rely on secondary distribution.
This piece is based on the UFO cattle mutilation motif.
The figure is approximately 28 cm in height, consists of 3 parts, and is molded in 3 gorgeous colors: clear, clear silver lame, and orange clear.

圧巻は、オレンジクリアで成形されたトラクタービーム部分です。
このパーツだけで約23センチ。おそらくスラッシュ成形だと思いますが、こんなサイズが抜けるんですね！！
クリア成形は、成形時に中垂れが目立ちやすく、歩留まりが悪化する仕様です。
イデアポッドのようにシンプルな円筒状は、もっとも中垂れがわかりやすい形状ですが、この仕様に挑んだ意気込みがすごい。
The highlight is the tractor beam section molded in orange clear.
This part alone is about 23 cm. It is probably slash molded, but such a size can be pulled off!
Clear molding is a specification that easily shows drooping during the molding process, which deteriorates the yield rate.
A simple cylindrical shape like the Ideapod is the easiest to see drooping, but the enthusiasm with which this specification was challenged is amazing.
完全に中垂れがないとはいってませんが、写真じゃ判別できないくらい。

UFOのクリアフードももちろん、中垂れしやすいパーツです。
こちらは完全な均一状態。素晴らしいクオリティですね！

このアイディアのソフビは他メーカーさんからも登場していて、どこが最初なのか自分はわからないのですが（個人的にはアイモ堂さんが最初と思ってる、違ったら教えてください……）、かつては手に持って遊ぶソフビが、フィギュア的に飾ることが主体となりつつ昨今、「宙に浮かぶ」こと、「しっかり接地する」ことが不思議と両立しているこのアイディアは大きな感銘と、同じテーマでソフビを作ろうとしていた僕としては、強い嫉妬を感じた作品でした。

I was very impressed with the idea of making a soft vinyl figure that both floats in the air and is firmly grounded, and as someone who was trying to make a soft vinyl figure based on the same theme, I was very jealous of this work.
