本日は玩具の祭典ワンダーフェスティバルでした。前日が仕事でなければ、向かう予定でしたが、それをクリアしても、感染者数も上がってるし、なかなか迷いどころ……いつになったら大手振って関東へ行けるのでしょうか……。
さて、ワンダーフェスティバルでも、別カラーが販売されたスタジオ24さんのコンプレックスランドシリーズより、サウス・ポーのオフィシャルカラー版が、受注販売されて（現在は完売）、手元に届きました。
コンプレックスランドは、第一弾の敵役であるRETTO（レットー）の「And 1」、第二弾の味方チーム・コンプリート・エックスの隻眼のリーダー「SHOCK-EYE」 と発表されています。

第三弾となる「SOUTH-PAW」 は、縦にも横にもデカい男です。
コンプリート・エックスのメンバーは、自身が得意としている分野の体の部位を失っているという設定。サウス・ポーも左利き（サウスポー）でありながら、左肩から先を欠損してしまっています。
しかし、失った利き腕を雷の力で構成しているという設定です。公開中のコミック第三話で語られていますが、彼は馬鹿力の猪突猛進タイプ。技の威力も高いですが、コントロールは大雑把で、周囲に被害を拡大しがち。そこをリーダーのショック・アイがサポートしてくれるという、バディ関係のようです。
個人的には、サウス・ポーはシリーズでも屈指の出来だと感じました。また、誤解を恐れずに言えば、本作は（あくまで個人的に）現代ソフビの一つの到達点だと思いました。
全高約19センチ、可動パーツは8パーツ（非可動パーツをあわせると、12パーツかな？）、成型色は黄色とクリア。
The third installment, "SOUTH-PAW," is a man who is big both vertically and horizontally.
The members of Complete-X are set up as having lost body parts in the areas in which they excel. SOUTH-PAW is also left-handed, but has lost his left shoulder and beyond.
However, he is set up to use the power of lightning to compose his lost dominant arm. As told in the third episode of the comic book that is currently being published, he is a foolhardy, inquisitive type. His techniques are powerful, but his control is rough, and he tends to cause more damage to those around him. It seems that they have a buddy relationship, with their leader, Shock Eye, providing support.
Personally, I felt that South Poe is one of the best in the series. And, without fear of misinterpretation, I thought this work was one of the achievements of modern soft vinyl.
The figure is approximately 19 cm in height, with 8 movable parts (or maybe 12 if you include the non-movable parts). Molded colors are yellow and clear.

縦と横に大きいボリュームと、陰影が美しい塗装、抜群の造形力。
ソフビが誕生し、当時の懐かしくもアバウトでキッチュなスタイルを継承し続けるソフビに慣れ親しみを感じる方にとって、この表現はあまりにも行き過ぎていると感じるかもしれません。
しかし、ゲームが2Dのドット絵スタイルから進化し、３D化してどんどん美麗化していくように、ソフビが進化していった先が、このような姿になるのではないか、なんて思いました。
もちろん、2Dのドット絵スタイルが普遍の良さを持つように、レトロスタイルのソフビは変わらぬ価値を持っていて、僕自身そういうスタイルのファンです。

ショック・アイにおいても、可動したときのポージングのキマリ具合は、かなりのものでしたが、サウス・ポーはボリュームとプロポーションの為せるものなのか、それ以上です。

マスクの塗装マスク（洒落じゃない）の精度が異常に高く、これが量産品だなんてにわかに信じがたいです。
頭部は、クリア成形のパーツを二重にしてありますが、マスクの中は空っぽで、鋭い眼光の輪郭だけが、ぼぉっと浮かんでいるかのような表現です。
The painted mask (no pun intended) is unusually precise, and it is hard to believe that this is a mass-produced piece.
The head is made of two layers of clear molded parts, but the inside of the mask is empty, and only the outline of the sharp eyes seem to be floating in the air.
クリア成形の鬼門となるのが、気泡と中垂れです。
中垂れは、金型に原料のゾルを流し込み、ある程度の厚さまで焼き硬めたのち、中空構造にするため、固まってないゾルを流す際に、半熟の状態のゾルが垂れて固まることで発生します。
その垂れた跡が、意図しない形で、クリア成形の外から見えてしまうのが、中垂れというエラーです。そのため、クリア成形は歩留まりが悪い傾向にあるようなのですが、サウス・ポーは最初から意図したデザインなのか、鶏冠の部分に半熟ゾルを溜めて焼き固めることができますし、後頭部部分が塗装で覆っているため、仮に中垂れを起こしても目立たないようになっています。非常に優れたプロダクトマネジメントじゃありませんか！

こんなふうに、ほぼ真横から太ももが伸びて、膝で９０°折って地面に接している脚の造形をみたのは、自分は記憶にないです。
大きく突き出した重そうなお腹を、バキバキに発達しているものの、上半身に比べて頼りない太さの脚が支えています。これによって、上半身のパワーと重量感を増しているんだと思います。

ボディの成型色は黄色でした。バキバキに塗装が施されているため、可動させる際は、慎重に取り扱った方が無難と思います。その点、夏はソフビが柔らかくなって良いですね。

ショックアイのオフィシャルカラーを持ってないのですが、これはこれで、闇落ちしたリーダーを助けるエピソードなんかを脳内補完してみてます。
第４弾がすでに始動中とのことで、こちらの発表も楽しみです。
