前回に続きまして、福岡で開催されたソフビトランクショーVol.2販売品のスカルトイズさんのアブダクションシリーズ、マジカル・ミステリー・マッシュ・ルームのベニテングタケ蓄光バージョンです。
今回はベニテングタケだけがラインナップ。
前回、ボディ金型は共通と考察しましたが、頭部それぞれ別々に用意されているのかしら。

ベニテングタケ系統のキノコには、幻覚作用があるといわれており（実際は深酒の酩酊程度）、シベリアではシャーマンがトランス状態になるために使われたり、酩酊薬として楽しまれてきた歴史があるそうです。ばっちい話ですが、お金持ちの家では、普通にキノコを煎じて飲み、貧乏な人は極寒の中金持ちの家の外で待ち、金持ちのオシッコがかかった雪を食んだらしい……そこまでしたいほど辛い生活だったのかな……。

（高価な蓄光素体のぶん、前回の白素体よりも少し値上がりしていました。もしかすると、前回が特別価格だったのか、材料費の高騰などあって値上がりしたか）

蓄光素体の良いところは、闇に光ることも一つですが、昼の間もやや半透明で、ソフビが持つみずみずしさを強く表現できる点を自分は強く推したい。
そのぶん、細やかなディテールは潰れてしまうので、造形次第ですが、MMMRのような全体的にツルリとしたシェイプは、完璧にマッチしています。原型・金型の消しきれない小キズや凹みを目立たなくしてくれます。
One of the best things about phosphorescent elements is that they glow in the dark, but I would strongly suggest that they are somewhat translucent even during the daytime, and can strongly express the freshness that soft vinyl has to offer.
That said, fine details are crushed, so it depends on the molding, but the overall sleek shape of the MMMR-like figure is a perfect match. It makes small scratches and dents that cannot be erased from the prototype or mold less noticeable.
