3月に抽選販売された、ぶたのはなさんの行け! 東宝怪獣セットその3です。東宝制作の特撮「行け!ゴッドマン」に登場した怪獣3体をセットにしたものとなります。
今回は開封編と、3体のうち一体目のサンダの紹介となります。

ぶたのはなさんといえば、数秒・数分で売り切れになってしまう先着順の購入合戦が毎度おなじみとなっていて、この刺激も楽しみの一つでしたが、前回から抽選販売に切り替わったようですね。今後もこの販売方式なのかは不明ですが、まったりと参戦できるのは、個人的に有り難い部分もあります。当選するかどうかの別のドキドキはありますけど（笑）。
Speaking of Buta no Hana, the battle to buy the tickets on a first-come, first-served basis, which sells out in seconds or minutes, has become a familiar sight every time, and this stimulation was one of the things I was looking forward to, but it seems to have switched to lottery sales since the last time. I'm not sure if this will be the case in the future, but I'm personally grateful to be able to participate in the event in a relaxed manner.

こちらが今回レビューするサンダです。
腰の部分で分割された2パーツ構成で、大きさは約13センチもあります。成型色はライトグリーン。
僕の持っているぶたのはなさんのソフビは、どれも3～5センチ程度のものばかりなので、かなり大きく感じました。

All of the soft vinyl figures I have of Buta no Hana-san are about 3 to 5 centimeters in size, so this one felt quite large.
手に持って、所有するぶたのはなさんのソフビの明確な違いは、大きさの他に、成形の厚みがあります。ぶたのはなさんのソフビは、わざと薄く成形して、ソフビの柔らかさを感じられるものとなっていますが、今回の東宝怪獣セットは、やや厚めに成形されていました。表面の仕上げも、つるつるではなく、さらさらです。
The clear difference between the Buta no Hana sofubi that you hold in your hand and own is not only the size, but also the thickness of the molding. Buta no Hana-san's soft vinyl is deliberately molded thin so that you can feel the softness of the soft vinyl, but this time the Toho Monster Set was molded a little thicker. The surface finish is also not smooth, but pearlized.
さて、サンダですが、ゴッドマンにしか登場しないオリジナルの怪獣ではなく、映画『フランケンシュタインの怪獣 サンダ対ガイラ』などに登場する怪獣だそうです。たぶん、予算などの都合で、怪獣のスーツを再利用していたのでしょうね。

フランケンシュタインの怪獣 サンダ対ガイラでは、フランケンシュタインの細胞から作られた巨人という設定。しょーもない知識を披露すると、フランケンシュタインというのは、怪物を作り出した博士なので、正確にはフランケンシュタイン博士の生み出した怪物の細胞から作られた怪獣……ですね。名前は、山（サン）から取られ、人間に育てられているので、性格は温厚。海外での名称は「ブラウンガルガンチュア」と言うそうです。

ゴッドマンにおいては、公園の子供たちと遊ぼうとしていたのに、凶暴そうな見た目で誤解されて、最後は逃亡しようとしたのに、惨たらしく超音波で爆殺というめちゃくちゃ可愛そうなキャラです。こんなの有りなのか（笑）。人の見た目で判断してはいけません、という道徳教育なのでしょうか。
In Godman, he was trying to play with the kids in the park, but was misunderstood because of his violent appearance, and in the end he tried to escape, but was defeated. I don't know if this is possible (laughs). Is this a moral education that we should not judge people by their looks?

ぶたのはなさん特有の味のある造形と、サンダの悲しいエピソードが結びつき、この作品をより愛らしく、哀愁のあるものにしています。

残念ながら、東宝怪獣セットの3体は現在未配信です。
