先日、先着順通販されたTRACTORさんのGRAVE II "Gargoyle"です。
GRAVE IIとあるように、別バーションもあるようです。TRACTORさんは、おまけ風シールの作家さんのようですね。
作品のモチーフは、ソフビの中空構造を生かした、アンティーク風の瓶です。
今回、僕が選んだクリア青、クリア緑、クリア茶色の３色が販売されました。
全高約１６センチ。２パーツ構成。
This is TRACTOR's GRAVE II "Gargoyle" by TRACTOR, which was recently mailed on a first-come, first-served basis.
TRACTOR seems to be the creator of omake style stickers.
The motif is an antique style bottle that utilizes the hollow structure of a softie.
It comes in three colors: clear blue, clear green, and clear brown. I chose the blue one.
The height of the bottle is about 16cm and it consists of two parts.
まずはパッケージ。
ヘッダーアートはアメコミ風です。モノトーンでカッコイイ。
最近、一部の人たちが消されそうと躍起になっている言葉「Slave（奴隷）」がシリーズ名のようです。言葉を消したところで、負の歴史を払拭したことにはならないと思いますがね……。
さて、ポーション（薬）に対して、「Slave（奴隷）」とは、なかなか風刺が効いている気がします。快楽や健康のために身体を酷使して、高価な薬を買うのは本当に自由なのか？
First, the packaging.
The header art is American comics style. It's monotone and cool.
The name of the series seems to be "Slave", a word that some people have been scrambling to erase recently. I don't think erasing the word has wiped out the negative history, though: .......
Now, I think "Slave" is quite a satire against potions (medicine). Is it really free to abuse the body for pleasure and health and to buy expensive drugs?
通常のソフビよりもエッジを落として、ゆるく造形してあり、クリアソフビの素材感も相まって、見た目の印象はアンテークの瓶そのものです。
アンティーク瓶は、もちろんバカラなど有名ブランドが製造していたなどで付加価値がある場合もありますが、不均一な厚みや気泡など、規格品でありながら一つ一つ個性があり、それってソフビも同じですよね。
The edges are loosely sculpted with lowered edges than normal sofubi, and combined with the material of clear sofubi, the appearance of these bottles is that of an antique bottle itself.
Antique bottles may have added value, of course, because they were made by a famous brand such as Baccarat, but each bottle has its own character, such as uneven thickness and bubbles, even though it is a standard product, and it is the same with Sofubi.
中にスライムを入れてみました。
I put the slime inside.
蓋と瓶に分割できます。
クリアソフビなので、柔らかく、開封は楽にできます。未塗装なので、塗装剥げの心配もなし。
It can be divided into a lid and a jar.
The clear sofubi is soft and easy to open. It is unpainted, so no worries about paint peeling.
不吉な骸骨なのに、ポーションと書かれています。日本ではビデオゲームの影響で、液状の薬を指すイメージですが、特にHPを回復する薬に限定されている訳ではないそうですが、そのイメージが先行してクリアブルーの色を選びました。
It's labeled as a potion, even though it's an ominous skeleton. I chose Clear Blue because of the image of liquid recovery potions in Japan, due to the influence of video games. Essentially, potions are not limited to potion that restore HP.
底面にはシリーズ名とメーカー名が刻印されています。
仕上げの細かい凹みやざらつきが、アンティークガラスに忠実で素敵です。
The series name and maker's name are engraved on the bottom.
The fine dents and roughness of the finish are nice and true to the antique glass.
瓶の口の部分は返しになっています。こういうディテールが本物感を醸し出してくれます。
The mouth of the bottle is returned. This kind of detail gives it an authentic feel.
次に、蓋のガーゴイルを見てみましょう。
ガーゴイルとは、ファンタジーやゲームの中で魔法で作られた守護者のようなもので、宝や主人を守ってくれます。このポーションはかなり貴重なものなので、守ってくれているかもしれません。
台座には GRAVE（墓）と作品名が記されています。
Next, let's take a look at the gargoyle on the lid.
Gargoyles are like magically created guardians in fantasy and games to protect their treasure and masters. This potion is quite valuable and may be protecting it.
The base is marked with GRAVE and the name of the work.
剣を構えた姿は騎士のよう。
「問おう、そなたが私のマスターか！」……なんつって。
He looks like a knight with a sword at the ready.
"I ask you, are you my master?"
