FPGAによる高性能互換機を販売する米Analogue社が、毎年大型発表する通称AnalogueDayにて、昨年、発表されたNINTENDO 64互換機Analogue 3Dが、今月22日予約受付開始と告知されました。

FPGAを利用することによって、ソフトウェアエミュレータによる遅延やバグなどがなく、最新の高性能ハードウェア上で、当時の実機とまったく同じ100％完全互換性が達成できるのがウリです。

PS、SS陣営に遅れをとって、ついに登場した当時の任天堂最新ハードであるNINTENDO 64は、その名に冠するとおり、64ビット機で、当時のPCの価格では500万円くらいした、という話から、スペック厨・コスパ厨の当時中学生だった僕は「すげー！！！　それが25000円で！！」　と発売日に飛びついたものでした。当時は、PSにFF7が出るということで、任天堂の勢いがなく、同級生のは64所持者がおらず、ほとんど会話したことのないクラスメイトが、自分の家に遊びに来てくれたりと、友人の少なかった自分にとっては、思い出のハードです。マリオカートや007ゴールデンアイなど、コントローラが4つ取り付けられる（当時はこのコントローラ4つ集めるのが一個2500円で高価とおもってましたが、今は4つでデュアルセンス一個の値段ですね……^^;）ので、集まって徹夜で遊んだものです。

当時としては、高性能ハードすぎて、開発環境に高度な技術を要し、性能を引き出すのが大変だったそうで、当時はソフト数が出揃わずシェアで苦戦。現在の任天堂が本体性能に拘らない路線になった要因になっています。反面、出てきたソフトは粒ぞろいで、再評価されており、特に米国で人気で、自分も中古ショップで爆買いしていく外国人の方を見かけたことが何度もあります。今回、PS・SSハードに先んじて、64の互換機がリリースされるのも、そのあたりの人気が理由なのかもしれません（PS・SSは他社互換機が多いから？）。

価格は約250ドルと、為替レートは違うし、コントローラが付属しない、送料・関税など、そのままではないですが、狙っているのか当時の価格と同じ感じです。

販売は公式サイトのみ。輸入代行している会社がいますが、トラブルの多い来歴のある（社名をすぐ変える）ところなので、注意喚起。

色は白と黒。

ロクヨンのフロントのカーブを象徴的に抽出しており、洗練されたデザイン。コントローラは付属しないようです。特徴的だったコントローラの再現ができていないのは、個人的にテンション下がる。少ないとは言え、左手に十字キー、左手にサンディスティックのレフトポジションを採用したタイトルがあったはず。ただ、オリジナルコントローラを使用できるポートがあります。4K出力対応していますが、当時のブラウン管テレビ環境を再現（フィルター？）。他ハードをプレイできるOpenFPGAには非対応。
