ピーポーピーポーさんのキョウアクザウルスシリーズのアゴラス、ドクアブ星人がセット販売で9月に抽選販売されました。今回はアゴラス編となります。
アゴラスは炭鉱現場より出現した怪獣という設定。
全高約16センチ、6パーツ構成、成型色は深緑。

まずは付属品。
ミドルサイズは、セット販売なので、足形が2つついてきます。
今年中に6つ集めると素敵なプレゼントがもらえるキャンペーン。
僕はこれで5個の足形を集めました。
あとひとつなんですけど、ちょっと資金的に難しそう。……シール台紙の配布が今月までとあるので、今から6つ集めれるチャンスがあるのかな？
今回は、缶バッチではなく、ステッカーが付いていました。

いままで2期が販売された作品では、このヘッダーデザインは、一期のみで次からデザインが変更されていますね。数十個作って、その度に新しいデザインのヘッダーを用意するって、すごいこだわりです。

今回は84個が作成。
ゾロン星人とサイガのときは75個でした。
毎回制作数が結構ばらついているんですね。

ヘッダーのとじ込み部分のイラスト。製品版にはないエラがありますね。このバージョンは、メテズラーにも少し通じる部分があるように感じました。

インスタグラムの投稿では、特にドクアブ星人の方が良いと書きましたが、よくよく触ってみると、こちらも良い！！ 甲乙つけがたしッ！！

アゴラスの見た目は、「王道中の王道」であり、非常に高い次元でまとまっています。
小ぶりなミドルサイズに凝縮された造形も見事で、ピーポーピーポーさんの他の作品よりもぐっと解像感が上がった印象すら感じます。
アゴラスをアゴラスたらしめる、もっともユニークな特徴は、頭部の鶏冠ですが、帽子のような見た目で、とてもユーモラス。そして、この唯一と言ってもいい特徴が、とてもオリジナリティに満ちています。

長く、優美なラインを描くしっぽがスタイリッシュかつ官能的。どこか垢抜けない、芋臭い感じを愛でるのがレトロソフビだと思うのですが、アゴラスはめちゃくちゃカッコいいのに、懐かしさもある。不思議なバランスです。

お顔は野趣ありますが、キリッとしていてハンサムです。昭和の大スター的な。両目はちゃんと塗装マスクできっちり塗り分けてあるように感じます。

口の中の彫り込みも深い。ここが窪んでなかったら、この迫力は出なかったと思います。

今回は6パーツ構成。ゾロン星人とサイガが4パーツだったので、ミドルサイズは4パーツ構成なのかな？ と思っていたら、この仕様だったので、びっくりしました。
