5月に抽選販売され、6月に発送されたピーポーピーポーさんの新作「宇宙昆虫人ゾロン星人」&「あばれんぼう怪獣ザイガ」のセットです。キョウアクザウルスシリーズ第３弾となります。これまでスタンダードサイズで展開されていましたが、今回の２体はミドルサイズです。
まずは、前作の「宇宙怪獣ゾロン」と関係が深そうなゾロン星人からレビューします。
全高約18センチ、4パーツ構成、成型色はサンドイエロー。

75個制作されたようです。
スタンダードサイズのゾロンが57個でしたので、サイズが一回り小さく、分割数もすくない（分割を増やすと湯口の部分で原料にロスが出る）ので、多く作れたのでしょうね。

さて、本体のレビューです。
宇宙昆虫人の名の通り、直立歩行する昆虫の姿をした宇宙人です。
現実でも昆虫は、起源となる生物が発見されておらず、あるとき突然現れたかのような感じのため、隕石に付着して宇宙から地球へやって来た、という説があります。また、核戦争などで地球が滅亡したあと、復活できる可能性が高いのも昆虫です。地球上にいる蟻を全部あつめると、地球上の人類の総重量よりも重いらしいです。植物の受粉などで、昆虫の媒介なしでは種の存続ができません。見方によっては、もはや地球は昆虫によって支配されていると言えるのかもしれません……。

頭部のツノは、カブトムシのようです。
口のような部分は、蝶の口吻（こうふん）を連想します。
どこか宇宙服のようなイメージも感じます。
