恐竜獣シリーズ第７弾となります。
ネクロングに続く海の恐竜獣です。モチーフとなったのは、名前から察するに、中生代白亜紀後期カンパニア期（約7,500万年前）に生息していた現在知られている世界最大のカメで、全長約4メートル体重２トンになるアーケロンと思われます。学名は「古代の亀」または「統治する亀」を意味するそうです。カッチョいい！ アンケロンの場合は「亀ではない、ヤバい恐竜獣」かな、……なんてね！
地球防衛軍のボムマリン号が付属しています。自爆攻撃するんじゃなくて、形状が爆弾型だから……という命名方式だと……信じたいな（笑）。
追記：ボムマリン号は機雷にもなる設定。その際には遠隔操作するんでしょうね。
アンケロンは全高約18センチ、7パーツ構成。ボムマリン号は全高約4センチ、2パーツ構成。共に成型色は黒。
