NC-118の誕生には、謎のハイミンの異常繁殖が関係しています。
デンタロリアンの中では、この問題に対して、増えすぎたハイミンを破壊して数を減らす派閥と、増殖の原因を究明しようとする派閥に別れ、内乱状態に突入します。
NC-118は、歯を愛する後者の保存派によって生まれたハイミン治療用AIロボットです。
NCが何の略かはわかりませんが、118は「良い歯」の当て字でしょうか。

Dentalorian is not the name of a robot, but the name of a group of people living in a colony of dental experts.
The creation of NC-118 is related to the abnormal reproduction of a mysterious hymin.
In response to this problem, the Dentalorians are divided into two factions, one to destroy the overabundant hymins to reduce their numbers and the other to try to determine the cause of the proliferation, leading to a state of civil war.
NC-118 is an AI robot for treating hymins, created by the latter preservationist faction that loves teeth.

ハイミンの隣にあるのは、サプライズでオマケとして戴いたハイミンの抜け殻。乳白色成形で2パーツ構成です。ハイミンは脱皮するんでしょうか……驚異の生態。
