隣にあるのは、以前購入した男の子バージョン。
顔の部分ののぞき穴が丸からオカッパ頭の形になっています。
大きさが若干大きいです。

ご存知、自立しないことが大事なコンセプトである作品です。
男の子バージョンのレビューで、人と人とがお互い寄り添う姿を連想しますが、誰かに干渉されなくたって構わないという、どこか超然とした態度を感じると書きました。
As you know, this is a work where not being independent is an important concept.
In my review of the boy's version, I wrote that I associate it with people leaning on each other, but that I feel a somehow superficial attitude that I don't care if someone interferes with me.

男の子バーションとのポーズの違いはステレオ的な性差を表しているようです。原始美術を思わせる加藤泉さんの作風と相まって、フェミニズムというよりは人類史の営みを表現しているように思いました。

髪の毛分男の子より大きくなっています。基本的に同じ人間だけど性別だけが違うということを表現しているのかな。
首のカンチャクの泡抜きの数が一本から二本になっていて、男の子バーションにみられた僅かな気泡が無くなりました。ソフビという製品としてもバージョンアップしています。
The hair is bigger than a boy's by a hair. I guess it's an expression of how we are basically the same person but only different in gender.
The number of bubbles on the neck of the kangchak has been reduced from one to two and the slight air bubbles seen on the boy's version are no longer there. It's also been upgraded as a soft vinyl product.
