インディーズソフビの素晴らしいところの一つは、一般人でも強い気持ちさえあれば、自分で作ることができるところです。こんなすごい世界があったんだと、コレクターの先輩方の薫陶を受け、ソフビ沼にズブズブと深みにハマってしまううち、そんな先達のコレクターさんも作家デビューしていきました。……それなら僕もソフビを作ってみたい！　なーんて思ったりもするんですが、言うが易しで、なかなか手が進まず……。

キダイさんが造形を初めたのは、SNSによると7月中旬。3ヶ月足らずのスピードで作家デビューを果たされました。ワックス型への置き換えや金型作成、テストショットの期間など外注部分を考えると、数日で原型を作成されたのではないでしょうか。思い切りが凄すぎる。

処女作のハイミンは、東京のレンタルスペースにて販売され、地方民の僕は涙を飲みましたが、相互フォロワー限定にて通販の機会があり、ゲットすることができました。

全高約7.5センチ、2パーツ構成、成型色は白。

白熊屋 / 極世紀:サンダーコマンドー［一期］〈+Eng sub〉

9月に抽選販売された「しろくまとレトロ雑貨と玩具」のお店「白熊屋」さんより新作「サンダーコマンドー」です。

白熊屋さんの作品は、白熊安全を名古屋のイベントで入手して以来となります。先着販売に負け越しておりまして、抽選販売にてついに手に入れた次第です。

これまでは屋号のとおり、白熊をモチーフとした作品を発表されてきましたが、新機軸となる完全人型のキャラクターです。

シリーズ名の極世紀は、代名詞の白熊が生息する北極から、そしてもちろん、最近完結したロボットアニメからも取られているのでしょう。

サンダーコマンドーの名前は、いくつかの候補の中から検討に検討を重ね、別作品で使われたカラーパターンの名前を気に入って採用したそうです。

その姿は、８０年代あたりの古典的SFに登場するような宇宙服、あるいはブリキロボット、また最近引退した電子音楽ディオを彷彿とします。

全高約１３．５センチ、可動箇所６箇所の７パーツ構成、成型色は黒です。

This is the new "Thunder Commando" from Shirakkuma-ya, the store of "Shirokuma, retro goods and toys" that was sold by lottery in September.

This is the first time I've seen Shirakumaya's work since I got the Shirakuma Safety at an event in Nagoya. I've been losing out on the first-come, first-served sales, so I finally got my hands on one by lottery.

As his name suggests, he has been releasing works based on the motif of a white bear, but this is a completely humanoid character, a new innovation.

The name of the series, Polar Century, is probably taken from the North Pole, where the polar bear lives, and of course from the recently completed robot anime.

Thunder Commando's name was chosen after much deliberation and consideration of several candidates, and after liking the name of the color pattern used in a previous work, it was adopted.The figure is reminiscent of a space suit, or a tin robot, as in the classic science fiction of the 80's, or the recently retired electronic music dio.

The figure is about 13.5 cm tall, made up of 7 parts with 6 points of articulation, and molded in black.

立体物やソフビを制作したことのないアーティストと共に、今までなかった玩具ではないアートーピース＝作品としてのソフビを制作、展開するという「VINYLS」より、モニョチタポミチさんのモニョガールが、ようやく僕の手元に届きました。

「ようやく」なのは、ずっと東京駅構内にあるショップや個展でしか販売されなかったからで、パンデミックが落ち着いて、東京遠征できるようになんないかな、とヤキモキしながら待っていたところ、代官山 蔦屋書店から通販可能な受注販売が開始され、飛び付いたのでした。

受注は7月で、発送は10月。待ってた～。

全高は約11センチで2パーツ構成。成型色は……なんだと思います？　記事中で明らかになります。僕は驚いた（笑）。

Underverse / TRACKER NOM HINKON + PC SQUARE

オーストラリアのコミックアーティストであるアシュレイ・ウッド氏によるフィギュアは、threeAからUnderverseとして再スタートを切りましたが、個人的に初めて買った製品が届きましたよ。今年の2月に購入、予定どおりに10月に！　threeA時代から考えると、これは快挙ですよ！

今回購入したのは、1/6スケール（約30センチ）のアクションフィギュアになります。

アシュレイ・ウッドさんの作品には、たくさんのラインに分かれていますが、こちらはワールド・ウォー・ロボット（WWR）というシリーズの、一応主人公格にあたるガスマスク野郎です（こう書くと、詳しい人がイヤイヤ違うよ！　と注意されそうですが）。とにかく、threeAコレクターにとって、ガスマスク野郎は特別なのです。同じようなのが何体居ても欲しくなってしまうものなのです。

今回は、僕が購入したHINKONバージョンと、NOMADバージョンがありました。

かつては、バックストーリーも結構語られていたんですが、近年は想像におまかせします方式なんで、妄想力を掻き立てて、楽しみむことにします。

1000toys(千値練) / 東亜重工:合成人間♀[1/12スケール]

1000Toysの1/12スケールフルアクションフィギュア「合成人間♀」の一次生産分です。

合成人間は、「BLAM!」「シドニアの騎士」の漫画家の弐瓶勉氏が、同作品世界内で共通して登場する企業「東亜重工」製のアンドロイドとしてデザインされたキャラクターです。

面白いのは、合成人間そのものは、漫画には登場せずに、オリジナル作品であること。最初に男性素体の1/6スケール、次いで1/12スケールが発売し、数々の派生品が登場しています。

男性素体の1/6スケール、1/12スケールのレビュー記事は、記事の最後にリンクします。

無機質なインダストリアルなデザインと有機的デザインの高度な融合。千値練の素晴らしい品質。素体ならではの驚異の可動域。有名漫画家もデッサン人形として愛用するほどです。オリジナル作品でありながら、大ヒットして現在も再販を繰り返しています。

そんな合成人間の新作として登場した女性バージョンは、これまでの合成人間と同じく、転売屋の餌食になりかねない状況だったため、公式からは発売前にも関わらず、二次生産が予告される事態になりました。

自分も予約開始に準備しましたが、アマゾン、あみあみ等の小売店分はあえなく撃沈。フォロワーさんのアドバイスで、別サイトにて購入できました（転売じゃなく、ちゃんと公式ですよ！）。

モジュール式ポケコン風PC「DevTerm」が来た!-組み立て編

やっと届いたか～！

組み立て式のエミュレーション携帯ゲーム機「GAMESHELL」を開発したClockworkから、レトロPC風の「DevTerm」が約一年待って、ついに届きました。

DevTermは、いくつかのモデルが存在し、僕はプログラマーでもエンジニアでもないのに、最高スペックのA6シリーズの4ギガモデルを選択。

もっとも安価なRaspberry PI CM3+ LITEを搭載したモデルと比べて、一万円ほどしか価格差がなく、それなら「いっちゃんイイヤツで！」　とこちらを選択しました。

ラズパイのモデルは、先月シッピング開始されましたが、A6シリーズは先日ようやく届きだしたところ。中間グレードのA4シリーズはこのあと発送という流れのようです。

ランブルモンスターズ / ミニナイン:シュナイダーキャノン〈+Eng sub〉

ランブルモンスターズさんのミニナインシリーズよりシュナイダーキャノンです。

ミニナインシリーズが欲しくて狙っていたのですが、なかかな先着販売に勝利できず、やっとゲットできました。今回、小売店向けに販売され（僕は大阪のポップソーダさんで購入！）、同時販売されたラビットガンナー (REVOLT)も、暗黒卿的かっこいいカラーで、欲しかったのですが、こちらは売り切れでゲット出来ず（泣）。

東和玩具 / ウータム［一期］〈+Eng sub〉

９月に抽選販売された東和玩具さんの新作ウータムです。

東和玩具さんは、ジャンボ指人形シリーズでソフビ作家としてデビューをして、人気を博しております。初の嵌合による多パーツ構成ソフビとなります。

ソフビ作品として初当選でしたが、東和玩具名義前に陶人形を購入させていただいたことがありました。

ウータムは制作に一年を要した作品であり、ソフビ作家としては、とてもめずらしいことに、作品に対する想い・テーマなどが綴られた「ウータム制作にあたり」　という文章が、当選メールにしたためてありました。

ソフビ作家さんの多くは、自分の作品について寡黙であることが多く、そのお陰で想像を膨らませて、僕のようなヘッポコが作品について、あーでもないこーでもないと好きなことを書けるんですが、こうして作家さん自身の言葉で、作品のことが知れるのは嬉しいことです。

「ウータム制作にあたり」　によりますと、ウータムは「知性」という言葉より着想を得たキャラクターであり、太ももの部分に湯口をつくり（湯口については、こちらの記事を参照にしてください-ソフビ雑記14:ソフビの抜きやすい・抜きにくいという話 - smogbom）、生き物として不自然な首や腰にカンチャクの横線が出ないようにしたい、ということが決まっていたようです。この仕様による制作難易度が高く、失敗しないよう理解してワックス型を作ることに労力と時間を要したとのことです。

Towa Toy debuted as a soft vinyl artist with their Jumbo Finger Puppets, and has been very popular. It is a multi-part soft vinyl.This was the first time I won a prize as a soft vinyl work, but I had purchased ceramic dolls before under the name of Towa Toy. Wootam was a work that took a year to make, and it was very unusual for a soft vinyl artist to have a sentence written in the winning e-mail, "On the making of Wootam" describing his thoughts and themes for the work.

Most of the soft vinyl artists are very quiet about their works, which allows a lazy person like me to write whatever I want about their works, but it is nice to know about their works in their own words.According to the "On the making of Wootam", Wootam is a character inspired by the word "intelligence", and he has a mouth on his thigh (for more information about the mouth, please refer to this article - Soft vinyl miscellaneous article 14: Soft vinyl is easy to pull out and hard to pull out - smogbom). 前々回、前回に続いてスカルトイズさんのエンドオブサマーパックよりカレーマンです。

エンドオブサマーパックの紹介は今回でラスト。夏の最後を飾る素敵なソフビたちでした。

カレーマン、その名のとおり、みんな大好きカレーライスを頭に乗せた、徳の高そうなお坊さんのような見た目をしています。

ドクロ兄弟には、兄と弟の２種があり、こちらは兄ボディのほうかな。頭部が通常のバージョンとことなり、ドックンロールの頭部となっている特別バージョンのようです。正式な名前があったかもしれませんが、ドクロ兄弟とさせていただきます。

前回も書きましたが、エンドオブサマーパックでは、ドックンロール１，２、３号の頭部違いがランダムで入っています。クリア素体は同じですが、２号頭部のみ彩色が施されています。

スカルトイズ / 一寸ドクロ[END OF SUMMER PACK2021その1]〈+Eng sub〉

8月末に抽選販売されたスカルトイズさんのエンドオブサマーパック2021を3回に分けて紹介します。エンドオブサマーパック2021は、カレーマン、ドクロ兄弟、一寸ドクロのコンボパックで、一部バリエーション違いがランダム封入されています。

今回、僕が当選したのは、このパターンです。

右のカレーマンのみ固定で、左の一寸ドクロは、自分の当選したクリアオレンジ・拭き取り塗装か、黒整形のフル彩色版の2種、中央のドクロ兄弟は、ドックンロール1、2、3号の頭部になったバージョンで三種となっています。自分が当選したドックンロール2号頭部のドクロ兄弟・兄は、1号・3号頭部がクリア彩色無しに対して、きっちり塗装されています。2号だけドールアイ無しに加えて、一寸ドクロの塗装仕様とバランスをとってるんだと思われます。

あれ？　一寸って約3.3センチでは？　と一瞬思ったんですが、骸骨の上に乗ってる1つ目ドクロが約3センチなので、こいつが一寸ドクロ。……胡座をかいてるけど……旦那、それは言わない約束ですぜ！

見ねぇ言わねぇ聞きたくねぇに似てますね。こちらメーカー名がGSKと刻印されていて、不勉強で申し訳ないのですが、スカルトイズさんも関わっているようです。骨助なんかもGSKと刻印されていますね。

追記:コメント欄にて、GSKはスカルトイズさんの別名義である骸骨商會のことということをご指摘いただきました。面積の関係で使い分けているのか、それとも和風モチーフの時はGSK名義なんでしょうか。

ktokto / ガルロイド 第一部隊〈+Eng sub〉

ケトケトさんの新作ガルロイドです。新規造形、初の塗装版。8月に抽選販売されました。

ケトケトさんはご自身の作品は元より、国内外のアーティストの作品の原型に辣腕を振るう新進気鋭の原型師ですが、今回は外部委託しての3D造形となります。原型は高精度の光成形による3Dプリンタ出力のようですが、流石に出力してそのままという訳にはいかないでしょうから、最後の仕上げはご自身の手によるものと思います。

今回、どうして手仕事ではなく、コンピュータによる3D造形と原型委託した意図があったのか自分にはわかりませんが、出来上がった作品は、これまでのケトケトさんのテイストが色濃く残りつつも、良い意味でさらに新しいファン層を獲得そうなキャッチーさも兼ね備えているように感じました。

全高約21センチ（ケトケトさんの作品で一番大きい？）、13パーツ構成、成型色はオレンジ。

This is Ktokto's new Galloid. Newly sculpted, first painted version, sold by lottery in August.

Ktokto is an up-and-coming sculptor who has been working on his own works as well as those of domestic and international artists, but this time he outsourced the 3D modeling to a third party. The prototype seems to be output from a 3D printer using high-precision photoforming, but I'm sure he can't just output it as it is, so the final touches must be done by his own hands.

I don't know why the intention was to commission the computer 3D modeling and the prototype instead of doing it by hand, but the finished work seems to have a strong sense of Ktokto's past taste, while also being catchy enough to attract a new fan base in a good way. I felt it was a good idea.

The figure is about 21 cm tall (the largest of Ktokto's works?). The figure is made up of 13 parts and is molded in orange.

京都でハンドメイドバッグを制作されているTASO WORKSHOPさんとミロクトイさんのコラボアイテム「地蔵バルブキャップ」です。

タソさんの鞄も愛用中！！

店舗販売のち、オンラインストアでピンクのみ極少数販売され、なんとかゲットできました。

こちらは、自転車のタイヤに空気を入れるバルブのキャップの頭がソフビフィギュアになっているというものです。

フランス式(フレンチ)バルブキャップに適合。フランスは仏蘭西と書き、「仏」と一文字で表されて、仏式とも呼びます。そのバルブキャップのモチーフが、地蔵菩薩なんです。完璧なダブルミーニング！

スカルトイズ×リアルヘッド / ドクロザウラー[BLACK x GID]〈+Eng sub〉

7月に抽選販売されたスカルトイズさんとリアルヘッドさんのコラボ作品ドクロザウラーです。ザウラー系は初入手。在りし頃、オフ会でネクストザウラーやドラコザウラー、もちろんドクロザウラーも見せてもらって、びっくりしたのはボリュームと、表面のザラザラとした荒々しい質感でした。

今回は二重成形で、一層目の蓄光は薄く焼かれていて、二層目の黒が裏から透けて、ガリガリと削られた表面を引き立てています。蓄光や乳白色にすると、細かい凹凸が見えにくくなってしまうんですが、こんな方法があったとは！
