久々のソフビレビューです！ テンションあがるわぁ……！
今年の大まん祭でデビューした戦闘メカオロチMX1の2期が9月WEB抽選販売され、当選しました。
遊び心満載のギミック、怪しさ満点の異彩をはなつ造形！ 届いて速攻でレビューしようと写真撮影始めたのですが、カンチャクをバラして分解したら元になかなか戻せず、悪戦苦闘して、ちょっと時間が空いてしまいました。一応、このソフビだけじゃなくて、応用が効きそうな解決方法を見出したので、途中に記しておきます。
全12パーツ、全高約22センチ、成型色は濃紺。
My first soft vinyl review in a while! I'm excited...!
The second season of Fighting Mecha Orochi MX1, which debuted at this year's Omansai, was sold by lottery on the web in September, and I won the prize.
A gimmick full of playfulness and a unique form that is full of weirdness! I was going to start taking pictures to review it as soon as it arrived, but I couldn't put it back together after I took it apart and disassembled it. I've found a solution that can be applied not only to this soft toy, so I'll write it down on the way.

スペースシップシリーズ第一弾、戦闘メカオロチMX1です。
デザインと原型をizumonster（ちみどろトイ）さんが担当、企画販売をまんだらけが担当します。

詳細レビュー
戦闘メカオロチMX1の全体像を見て、僕が受ける第一印象は、「バランス感覚の欠如」です。人間は、シンメトリーとか黄金率とかの比率を無自覚に見出して、それを美しさとして捉えるのですが、オロチMX1は、非常に歪で、どこをとっても不安定な印象を受けます。ある意味、全く新しい価値観を提案しているようにも思います。
ソフビという素材も相乗効果で、この異質な存在を触りたくなる魔性をプンプンと放っているように感じられるのです。
正直、このブログでは写真写りは良くないかもしれません。僕には、この作品を手にとって感じた魅力を写真にすることができませんでした。
The first impression I get when I look at the overall picture of the Fighting Mecha Orochi MX1 is a lack of a sense of balance. Human beings unconsciously find the ratio of symmetry and the golden ratio and take it as beauty, but the Orochi MX1 is extremely distorted and gives the impression of instability everywhere. In a way, I think it's a completely new value proposition.
The soft vinyl material also has a synergistic effect, giving off a magical feeling that makes you want to touch this different existence.
Honestly, it may not be a good photo op on this blog. I was not able to photograph the fascination I felt when I held this piece in my hands.
キャラクターのバックストーリー。
オロチMX1は、地球軍と戦争状態の機械魔獣帝国の秘密兵器。
最初、メカフリーザ的なキャラなのかな？ と思ったのですが、自由意志はあんまりない、命令を冷徹にこなす戦闘マシーンという印象。メカオロチではなく、戦闘メカのオロチMX1です。
最強遺伝子と核エネルギーによって誕生した、とあり、来歴となる最強遺伝子とは誰のものなのか、想像が膨らみますね。

At first, I wondered if he was a Mecha-Freeza-like character. I thought so, but I got the impression that he's a fighting machine that doesn't have much free will, and that he's able to coolly carry out his orders. It's not a Mecha-rochi, it's a combat mecha, Orochi MX1.

何気なく取り外しできますが、ソフビという素材の性質上、前もって大きさを厳密にすり合わせることは困難だったはずです。原型自体は仕上がったソフビのように中空構造ではないので、マスクの原型をかぶせることなんてできないのですから。……というか、この作品、最終的な仕上がりは、前もって確認できなかったのではないでしょうか？ 技術の蓄積があったにせよ、とても挑戦的な作品だと思います。
This mask is very comfortable to put on and take off.
It can be removed casually, but due to the nature of the material being a soft vinyl, it would have been difficult to strictly match the size beforehand. The prototype itself is not a hollow structure like the finished sofubi, so it is not possible to put the original mask on it. I think it's a very challenging work, even though it had a lot of skill.

こちらのドールアイは、更に下にある顔のものです。こちらの位置出しも一発勝負だったと思うのですが……むちゃくちゃ凄くないですか？

最後のマスクを取り外すと、パッケージ絵の顔が出てきます。

拭き取り塗装なので、マスク脱着による塗装ハゲはそこまで神経質にならなくても良いと思います。
ドールアイの出っ張りだけちょっと気にしたほうがいいですね。

戻し方なんですけど……。
これは結構有意義だとおもうので、後日別記事にしたいですが、なんでとりつかないかというと、カンチャクをはめるには柔らかくする必要があるけど、そのせいで潰れてしまって中に入らないのです。
それで編み出した方法が、中に詰め物を入れるという方法。
カンチャクのオスメスを十分温めた状態にします。
The way to put it back.....
I think this is quite meaningful, so I'd like to write another article later, but the reason why I can't get into it is because I need to soften the kanchak to put it on, but it's crushed and I can't get into it.
The method I came up with is to put a padding inside.
今回は、カンチャク経より少し小さい、こういうキャップを中にいれました。
